You Know You Are Behind When
When there is no clean underwear in the house.
When you haven't reset your bedside clock from the power outage three days ago.
When there is no empty space on any floor in the whole house.
When the dirty dishes look like they are about to walk away on their own.
When you bought presents for new babies months ago and they are still sitting in your closet.
When you have been living in Texas for almost one year and still have not gotten Texas license tags.
When you have to explain to a Texas state trooper at midnight on your way home from second shooting a wedding in San Antonio why you have not yet gotten said tags (and let's face it--my looks weren't going to get me out of this one).

Why bother? It's just going to go out again. These fun resets they've been doing lately are annoying at best.

I thought I was bad for not having changed my license address - but at least that's in the same state!
OH MY GOODNESS!!! You sound like me! I didn't get my CA tags until almost a YEAR after I'd moved there either!
I feel like I'm constantly behind! And we just got a 19 month old whom we are hoping to adopt. So life isn't going to catch up any time soon.

Sounds like you need a personal assistant for an interim period. Like Carrie in the Sex in the City movie.
I have a teenager that needs an interim job. Although I don't know if he'd want to wash your underwear.
