Independence Day
Over the fourth of July weekend I had the good fortune to meet and photograph my friend Sara's family on her husband's side. Sara's daughter Leilani was very shy of the camera and so, while technically not a great shot, I love the one of her silhouette in the window.

AWESOME shots!!!!! dig the one of Sara and Russ under the tall tree, Leilani at the window and Orion upside down sticking out his tongue...silly!

Just wanted to drop a line letting you know that even though I don't often comment, I'm always following your blog and enjoying your pictures. (Hmm, that sounded a bit stalk-ery.) Anyway, you really do take beautiful photographs. I'm very inspired by your pics, but I'm a poor substitute. Thanks for sharing.
