Makes TOTAL sense.

I'm not even a professional photographer and I chuckle when other ask, "What camera does she have?... I want one."

There is so much to learn with photography.
And then the post-processing. THAT's a whole other story.

I admit I have asked you what kind of camera you use. My new SLR is working out much better, but yeah, it definitely takes more than a good camera.

There's no shame in asking about gear. It's when people think that the gear is the ONLY component in good photography that it becomes problematic.
