A Special Note
I do not usually put reviews from clients on the blog. I am not usually one to toot my horn. But when I received this one from Jessica, which was written with the help of her amazing mother Mary (pictured below together), I just had to put it here. It literally brought me to tears. And it reminded me why I love photography. That it really affects people's lives and I am so blessed by my wonderful clients and they they let me into their lives and their hearts.
"Having Bonnie photograph our wedding was such a pleasure that I feel lucky to have found her. Her experience, her talent, her eye for nuance and detail, combined with a calm and confident working style, produced photographs that are not only beautiful to look at but manage to reveal the emotions behind each glance and smile and tear. She understood my vision for a “vintage county farm” wedding perfectly. She noticed every detail that I worked so hard to make a reality and captured each one beautifully for all time. She took the inevitable tensions and confusions of the preparations in stride and, at times, her composure and professionalism were what allowed the wedding party to relax and let the day’s events unfold. Affable and enthusiastic, she got along with both our families so well that she seemed like part of the family and no one wanted her to leave when her work was done. I know that when we take out our albums and look at our photos ten years from now, it will be like reliving that special day all over again, and I will always be grateful to Bonnie for making that possible."
